Meet Cody--the puppies dad

Many people have asked us what the father of the puppies look like.  Meet Cody, Bella's mate.

Cody is an ACA registered poodle.  He weights 50lbs, and is a golden brown color.  Cody lives in PA on a dairy farm with a large family.

7 Weeks Old!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

The day before Thanksgiving we got our first snow for the winter!

We were so happy that Tony's sister from Ohio could come with her little family to see our puppies!

 This little boy is too cute for words!  He LOVED the puppies!

When Bella was a pup...

Do you think Bella's pups look anything like her?  This picture was taken at approx. 10-12 weeks old.  

We love Visitors!

My cousin's little girl came to see Bella's pups.  They loved her, and she loved them!  What a cutie!

My brother Tony also spent the evening with me and the puppies. 

Puppy Love

It was an unusually warm November day that we decided to take all the puppies out in our yard in the crunchy leaves to play.

3 weeks old

These lil' puppies know exactly when I'm going to feed them.  They are eagerly waiting for me early in the morning, mid afternoon, and evening for their portion of milk!  Such greedy little things, but so adorable! 

It's hard to believe they are already 3 weeks old!!  Their personalities are really starting to come alive.  Tony and I had a fun experience of giving each one their individual dosage of the de-wormer.  I was assured at the place where I bought the medication, that the puppies loved the sweet taste of the de-wormer, but oh the coughing and sputtering that came from these lil' puppies.

Introducing Miss Bella....and her 13 puppies

Yes, I said 13 puppies!  Our quiet home started buzzing with excitement on October 15th when Tony came upstairs, and announced that the puppies were starting to arrive!  I spent  most of the afternoon watching after Bella, making sure each newborn puppy got it's fill of milk, and texting Tony everytime another puppy made it's appearance.  Finally after 6 hours of being in labor, the 13th healthy puppy was born.

Night Duty started that very night, and continued for the next half a week.  I think these puppies are trying to prepare us for our baby that's due in April!  The first night neither Tony or I got much sleep.  Each time we went to "check" on them, the visit got much longer because they were simply to cute to just leave.
